Sports Medicine Australia
Sports Medicine Australia (SMA) is Australia’s peak national umbrella body for sports medicine and sports science and the leading advisory body on all medical and health issues for active people.
SMA assists individuals and organisations (State Sporting Associations, leagues and clubs) to create safe playing environments in which all Australians can actively and freely participate. SMA provides sports safety courses via SMA’s Safer Sport Program (including courses such as Level 1 Sports Trainer, Provide First Aid, CPR) and runs sport safety programs (Smartplay, Sports Injury Tracker, CleanEdge).
