If you can relate to any of these situations, then help is ‘at hand’ – come along to the first regional Female Administrators Network (FAN) session for 2012 bought to you by Sports Central & vicsport.
Who: Female sporting club volunteers and administrators
Date: Wednesday 27 June
Time: 6pm - 9pm
Venue: North Ballarat Sports Club, Creswick Road Ballarat
Cost: $20 per person or two (2) people for $35 (from the same organisation). Light refreshments will be provided. Payment to be made on the night. Please let us know if you have dietary requirements

Session Content
This session will provide you with techniques to communicate with different personality types, “how to influence” techniques, being more assertive and dealing with conflict. We will work through your experiences and stories to bring the content to life and be able to provide you with practical examples and ideas for you to use in your current and future roles.
Presenters:
Max Binnington (vicsport)
Max has worked in local government recreation and community services, had an HR consulting business since 1989 and spent 4 years as Athletics Australia’s National Performance Manager. He considers himself an educator and mentor and looks forward to assisting people across sport in Victoria achieve their ambition.
Kristen Beams (vicsport)
Kristen comes from a background in the sport of cricket. As a player, volunteer and administrator at all levels from club, State and National she has an understanding of the role that females can and do play in sport and the barriers faced at all levels.
