Sports rage can come in many forms, a disruptive spectator abusing a player, an unruly parent abusing an official, or a troublesome player abusing fellow competitors. Whatever the form, and wherever it takes place, sport rage is not acceptable.

Dealing with sport rage can be a major concern for a sport or active recreation club. As difficult a task as it may be however, all clubs must be prepared for, and ready to deal with sports rage. Failure to take appropriate action to discourage sports rage at your club, or to deal with an incident appropriately should it arise, reflects poorly on your club, and can deter participant involvement at all levels.

In this section is information to assist clubs to develop appropriate policies and procedures for promoting a culture that discourages incidents of sports rage, and for dealing with an incident appropriately should one arise.
